Treat Yourself!

Hello everyone I hope you all had a lovely, long weekend and easter and eating lots of chocolate. My weekend wasn't so great at I spent it working long late shifts until early hours of the morning, not really sleeping and not really eating a lot, so as I had the day off from my second job I decided after a well earned lay in (until half 1 in the afternoon, oops) I also deserved a bit of a pamper afternoon.

So I ran myself a really hot bath with no bubbles, I hate bubbles in the bath I'm not sure why really, but I just laid there for about 10 minutes just chilling listening to some of Deadmau5's more chilled songs and some Ellie Golding, then I moved onto cleansing my face, using the Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean cleanser and just slathered this all over really working it into my skin particularly around the nose, chin and any spots then just rinsed of with water. As well as smelling amazingly fresh it leaves my skin looking healthy and leaves a little glow to my skin ( I also use this in the mornings ), so already I'm feeling better in my bath. It wouldn't be a girls pamper sesh with out a face mask, and the one I chose today was the Superdrug Apricot Exfoliating Mask which 'smooths and brightens skin' and also smells pretty good. I just slapped this also my face whilst rubbing and working it down into the skin to get the exfoliation going and left for 10-15 minutes.

So while my face mask was on I moved onto shampooing my ombre locks using the Toni & Guy Cleanse Shampoo for Normal Hair, I don't actually have normal hair mine is a little dry but I switch between the dry and normal shampoo as the one for normal hair pretty much does the same thing, the dry one is just a little more hard working whipping my hair into smooth shape. When that was all rinsed I slathered on a resent purchase of mine which is the Superdrug Cocoanut Oil which is a natural skin softener but also says on the back you can use it on your hair, so I just put this all in the ends and middle on my hair avoiding the roots wrapped it up in a bun and left it to do its softening magic.

While all these things are soaking in making me feel good I went on to getting those silky smooth legs everyone loves to have, and hair to me is illegal I wish it only grew on a women's head. But us girl just gotta deal, right?
To achieve my silky-smoothness I start off my exfoliating with the Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub just to remove any dead and dry skin so the razor doesn't clog up (sounds gross) this stuff smells so yummy and I'm pretty sure like nearly all people in the UK own this stuff, but it does the job so thank you Soap & Glory for your invention it is a master piece. I don't like to use a shaving gel as I find them quite drying afterwards so I use a conditioner instead as it leaves my legs feeling soft afterwards, I used a Tresmme conditioner today but to be honest it doesn't really matter it not for the hairs it for the legs and any I have used have all done the same smoothing job. I'm a little anal when it comes to the actual shaving of legs and other bits as I like to do 3 strokes and then rinse and de-clog instead of, shave shave shave shave...... and rinse here and there, and I do it in small sections on the leg starting in small sections around the ankle and working my way up the leg, then once the leg is done I go back round once more with 3 big stokes just to remove any pesky ones that want to stay, sorry little hairs there no room on this leg for you. Then I do the same for the other areas us ladies gotta put up with unwanted hair.  I shave my legs every day - every 2 days as my leg hair grows back so fast it's a joke.
So now that I'm smelling good and feeling silky smooth I rinsed off my face mask, in the sink ,whilst using it as a exfoliating face wash and oh my bagibas it removed all the dead, dry and flaky bits of skin off my face even my spots felt soft, and my face looks really refreshed, revived and just clean.  Then I washed out the cocoanut oil and conditioned my hair with the Toni & Guy Nourish Conditioner for Normal Hair which goes hand in hand with the shampoo, squeeze all the excess water out and wrap my hair up in a turbie towel which you can get dirt cheap from Savers or Primark or anywhere and they are just really handy.
After all that it was time to wash, and I used and finished the Simple Invigorating Shower Gel in Fresh Mint Goddess which only has a slight hint of mint it's not overly strong it's kind of 'oh I just got a whiff of mint' kind of strong.

To keep my skin as soft as I just made it, I used the Soap & Glory 'The Righteous Butter' body butter which doesn't have a particular scent to it but it is really creamy and sinks in to the skin like a dream and leaves my body feeling all soft. Not forgetting my tooties (feet) I used the Soap & Glory Heel Genius foot cream and really work that into my feet so I don't have to walk around with like 'wet' feet it really isn't a nice feeling at all. I also used a Firming lotion on the bottom and bosom area just to tone and try out really, and I used the Dove Firming Nourishing lotion which says that skin elasticity is boosted within 24hours of one use so I shall update you on Twitter in the morning on what I think. lastly I have to moisturise my hands using my holy grail Soap & Glory Hand Food  which leaves my hands nice and soft of dry skin.

If you have a pamper post leave a link in the comment and I'd love to see what you like to use for relaxing and pampering.
